“Like a Bulb Planted” by Natalie Wilkinson isn’t just a gorgeously written poem — its message moved me deeply. As I commented on Natalie’s poem when I first read it, it was heartwarming to see another work that bore even a faint resemblance to my own (it reminded me of January, a poem about hopeless little daffodils growing before spring’s come), especially when the piece itself was such a lovely read! (And Natalie even shares a soundcloud link to her reading the poem, which is just plain awesome).
