“Move,” he hissed in her ear from his perch upon her left shoulder. How long ‘he’ had been on her shoulder seemed like forever; it was so long in fact that she no longer felt his honed talons as they dug into her shoulder. The exception was, of course, when the foul beast would cruelly flex said talons, causing them to break skin.
