in between, and
empathy is me
searching for a
reason to be,
searching for
meaning in less.

“A Woman Said No to Me in the Most Charming Way Possible” by Thomas Gaudex was one of those stories that just made me feel warm inside and smile to myself as I reached its conclusion. In a world in which so many people seem to so often focus on everything wrong and negative (please ignore the irony of my posting this at the bottom of one of my dark mental health poems), I always find it refreshing and encouraging when I come across evidence of wholesome, sweet, and otherwise smile-worthy moments going on in the world. We aren’t existing in the age of Doom and Gloom, and I always love these little reminders that there’s good out there happening all the time.
